This was put out in 97 from what the sleave states. A couple bands from califas, as far as i know both these bands have more material out there, if your interested in looking. Hard to find as far as rar files, but im sure you could buy the material if you get off on these two bands. What to say, they are both in the direction of crusty, sludge,grind. Not the same in style but in the same genre. INCARCERATED wins from my stand point on this split. interesting none the less.

It has been a minute since i have done anything with this project. I was not pleased when i finally logged in and found out that my blog was all messed up. Here is some boise history for you. I lived there for 5 years and I know some of the members in both of these bands. A.O.C was mike the drummers old band from hummingbirds of death and TORN ANUS is a two piece, the drummer is my friend bug and he also played in MANVILLE R.I.P, with mike. I know these guys preatty well, I've seen torn anus play in the late 90's at my friend bruces house when in fact, I got to bark out some words when they were playing. I also have seen hummingbird of death more then enough times at justin cantrels myrtle mourge, which is when he had shows at his house. If any of you boise folks come across this post, what's up and justin sorry about the miss hap. Long live the boise scene. A lot of well know bands have come from boise, just to name a few septic death and state of confusion.

If you have no idea who heavy hardcore headroom studios is then you need to rewind history to a very important part of hardcore evolution. Bill T. Miller recorded many bands that were a mile stone in hardcore such as disenssion, disrupt, grief, drop dead, hail of rage, deformed conscience. I got this comp cd from him when I contacted him to get a copy of the chickenchest and the bird boys 12''. I don't recall if I gave you the low down, but there were no copies available or even where to get one when he pressed them. He had an extra copy that he hooked me up with that was out of his own cooection, as well as this comp. I think he said that it was limited press, so to Bill T. Miller, cheers. This is a good comp to say the least. If you like the band I just stated above, then check this out, because there all on this disc.

This is a tribal war press out of nyc, if you didn't already know the tribal records. Tribal war has released a lot of really good tunes for people like me and you that like to have our faces kicked in on a daily basis. SARCASM is from england and they have a hand full of releases. PISSED. was around in the early 90's, from Minneapolis, and when I heard them, I heard the s/t 7'' at the same time I had borrowed the econochrist ruination 12''. I just got this in the mail about a month ago and didn't know what to expect, the same style as the 7''. The songs on the 7'' are on this and this was pressed on there European tour and is live. Think deprived, style hardcore. Worthy of a gander.

EXISTENCH has alot of material out and after not listening to this for some time, I'd have to say it doesn't even sound like there other presses. It's the same, but different, in a good way. The first time I got a taste of this band was when I heard the close your eyes and see death 7'' comp that also includes two great bands as well, long time runners capitalist casualties and luzifers mob. Here is three more songs to chock up on your collection. The two songs on the close your eyes and see death comp are worth seeking out, but in my opinion these three platters are by far more brutal and pissed off. Do us all a favor and listen to this, re-education.

So here we are, another day and more music to share. I first heard these guys when I was in 6th grade. I went to my friends house and we went skating. He brought me to this dudes house I of course had no idea who he was, all I know is he had a mini ramp in his back yard. As always back then, I thought everyone that skated listened to punk and yes this guy did. Him as well as another long missed friend of mine turned me on to a vast variety of underground, as well as stuff that wasn't underground and that was when I took off on my mission to seek out music that was faster, as well as more interesting then what I had already heard. If you don't know who these guys are, dig in. This band along with many others that I found, is out of seattle and was a well known band around that time. I grew up in the northwest where alot of ground breaking hardcore came from, 30 minutes from spokane. Enough about that, this band is good old fashion hardcore. You never heard this!

Jay from both bands and Jeff from both bands, plus one other member that I don't know, but I can say this is way off base from those bands I spoke of. This is old school punk and it's way different. I got this straight from BILL T MILLER himself and what a cool dude. He gave me this and a CD for a good deal and I'd have to say good luck finding this 12". It's not what you'd expect from members of the bands I spoke of.

AXIOM if you haven't heard them, then you got to try this on for size. From Portland when they were around, this is there first 7'' and in my opinion some of the best stuff they put out. All they're stuffs rad, not to discredit the other albums, but as far as music goes, they say that bands first material is always the best. I care to differ, but in some cases that is true and in this case and as well as in most hardcore bands favor, the statement applies. Crusty, grinding masses, as well as thrashers, pay attention to this one.

FEAR OF GOD, one of the most under rated bands that came out of the 80's. In a league of there own, but not to forget NAPALM DEATH that came out around or after as I know. These guys as far as I can say were way better then napalm death and until this day I still think the same. I recently just heard of them through a good friend of mine (JAKE) about a year ago and he's more knowledgeable about them then I. Don't be fooled by this album at first listen or at the first songs intro, this is for real the LOGICAL NONSENSE everyone knows of. An older album I picked up in Spokane,WA when I went to see they familia. As I remember I got it for cheap at 4000 holes and the WHIPPED - AGITATOR LP at the same time. Scores from hell, just at the right time. This will not disappoint you. It may not be as hardcore as the SOUL POLLUTION LP, but it's equally rad. Do yourself a favor and listen to this and SEBASTIAN if your out there, thanks for the good times in ASHLAND, OREGON.

DEUS EX MACHINA is REACT's 12''. I don't know if this is the only 12'' they did, but I do know that they did a couple of other projects such as a split 12'', and another 3 way split cd with a couple of bands. This is some of they're best stuff i've heard just like the 7'' I posted. More tunes of the same style as you know. Live fast, play load.

This is the REACH LP by MORAL SUCKLING,they also have a 7'' (NO MORE WAR TOYS) that was put out in the late 80's. I'm thinking this was put out around the same time, but I really cant tell you much. This Lp is alot different in style than the 7'' for sure. Cant give a good description do to them having there own style on this album, check it out you'll like it, maybe. it's good i think and you may also.

M.O.M as known by most have a few splits as far as I know. They did a split with the grinders known as AGATHOCLES. Here is an album that I scored off of DR. STRANGE records. To find old gems such as this one I'd say always check out DR. STRANGE records. This is all live, but doesn't loose it's intensity. They're from japan.

Japanese hardcore, grindcore at it's best.

This here I think is the first REACT 7", i could be wrong and I've been known to be wrong a time or two. I scored this 7" on eBay for $12. What a steal and now I can have an almost complete collection of REACT albums. I will post them all for those that love react as much as I do. REACT has members or had members from STATE OF FEAR, SASQUATCH, THOSE POOR BASTARDS and of course DEFORMED CONSCIENCE.

PAWN is for all. They"re from Ohio and this is one of those 7" that i searched for, for years and ended up finding it on eBay from someone in Spain, who would of thunk it. As you've seen for the most part everything I post is crusty,grindy or hardcore. This is a little of all. I think that if you never heard them then at least check it out and give it a spin. It's good tunes to rebel to. It is an album for those of all walks of life, as far as punk, hardcore or grind goes. Don't be shy, take a peek and find out what PAWN is all about, awsome if you'de ask me.

About this 12", don't be confused with the other DISABUSE bands out there, this is the real deal. This DISABUSE is made up of members of DISRUPT and EXTREME NOISE TERROR. Put out on vinyl japan and is rad beyond all belief. First heard this on napster back in 99 and since then i got it on vinyl on a trip to Portland for $8. Way out of print, if you like crust and the two bands that make up this album, then it's a must hear. I speak the truth.

This band is from what I've heard is made up of members of, OR has had members from MINDROT and DYSTOPIA, but im not that sure what the truth is. One of the few 7" I first heard when I started into the hardcore underground scene back in thee old days. Crusty,grindy,chuggy and fast at times. Check it out, rad art work too.

I first heard this 7" through my friend Steve before he moved back to Seattle. At the time I had already heard the RETURN TO DESOLATION album. I ended up getting this SLAP A HAMer with the ALL THAT REMAINS 7" plus like 2 other 7" for $30 bucks out of a maximum rocknroll classified ad.

RORSCHACH DISCOGRAPHY here, as you've been able to tell if you read my descriptions under the covers, i really don't know what to say about most of the bands. A lot has already been said in favor of the bands from the time they started until way after there demise. I like the music i post and that's all that matters. I also am putting out there what i have so if people can't find this stuff, now there is a place where it's all compiled. This is only the beginning my fellow hardcore friends.

This band as we all should know have pre - members of the all mighty MAN IS THE BASTARD and before P.H.C a.k.a PISSED HAPPY CHILDREN there was the PILLSBURY HARD CORE. What is there really to say about all these bands except that Eric wood for the most part created power violence. For some rad jammin, tune in to this discography cd located bellow.

CARCINOGEN dino's band before DYSTOPIA, this demos a little more grindy than dystopia, but never the less powerful. 8 songs all together unlike every other copy of this demo I found and it works. Hope you enjoy.

As stated by DINO/DYSTOPIA,theses guys are the spinal tap of hard core. These guys been around since the late 80's and still keeps on keep in on. Just released another 12"recently. This here's a classic SLAP A HAMer 12". If you like them and don't already have this get it, it shreds and in my opinion one of there best albums till this day. For grind freaks a must.

RICE if you haven't heard them sound like old Japanese hardcore. There from san diego and this was pressed and put out on old lookout records before they became crap. Well some would say that they have always been crap, but they did put out some good albums back when. Rice is all about rice and they're good tunes.

One of the most recognized bands that came out of portland in the 90's. Punk as fuck if you ask me. This is the discography cd that has all the jams from the original make up of resist. The SOLUTION.. REVOLUTION LP, the split 7" with DEPRIVED and the FREE 7". Feel free to check it out.

I first heard MINDROT when I traveled to Ashland, Oregon back in 97' from one of the local butt rock kids as a girl called them. One of my friends turned me on to them when i was squating around. Sludgy, doom, crust i guess you could call them. I just found this, so for those who have'nt heard this, check it out for yourself and rot your mind.

Acursed hail from Sweden, one of my faves as far as Swedish crust/grind goes. They seem to not disappoint when it comes to intensity. An older release, but as we know the oldest is usually the better in some cases. Make the decicion for yourself.
